What is a family nurse practitioner?

You’ll be a primary point of contact for the health care needs of individuals and families and have the ability to track, treat and educate patients. Following successful certification, the graduate applies to the Department of Professional Regulation for licensure as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) for practice in their state.
